On Friday 26th October there is a celebration at the Thai Garden Resort for Austrian National Day. The entertainment will be conducted by the Grand Opera of Thailand who will performing an Austrian repertoire with music by Mahler, Schubert, Mozart and Strauss.

Along with this stunning musical extravaganza there will also be a fantastic international buffet, and tickets are available directly from the Thai Garden Resort.

Grand Opera Thailand

The CEO of the Grand Opera Thailand is Stefan Paul Sanchez who is also the artistic director. Stefan maintains a well balanced career and this includes performing as an international opera singer, producing and teaching. Stefan has toured extensively all over the world.

In 1992 he formed the European Chamber Opera. He studied at the prestigious Royal Academy of Music in London, and he graduated with distinction. Later he also attended the Escuela Superior de Canto in Madrid.

Grand Opera Thailand was formed in 2011, and it was created to give a platform for young budding Thai opera singers to perform opera in Thailand, with future opportunities abroad.

The aim of the group is to provide approachable opera to the Thai public and to introduce opera as a performing art form in the Kingdom of Thailand. Grand Opera Thailand also operate training courses for young Thai singers.
