Pattaya is famous for its events and at Christmas and New Year there are a multiple of things to do and see that are held all over the city.

New Year Countdown for 2018
If you want to join the thronging crowd there is only one place to be on New Years Eve and that is the official countdown party. A free open air festival for saying goodbye to the old and welcome in the new.
Head down to Bali Hai pier at the end of Walking Street, and you will find a free live concert and party for all and sundry. Be warned this is a ram packed gig with some of the best Thai and International bands performing free.
At the appointed hour a splendid fireworks display will light up Pattaya Bay and can be seen for miles. New Year parties will be held all over Pattaya in the bars and clubs of the city.
Christmas dinner or lunch is celebrated all over the city by nearly every restaurant, hotel and sports bar. And it is surprisingly traditional with Turkey and all the trimmings. Booking is advised as residents and visitors to Pattaya all wish to fill themselves up with Christmas fayre.
Although not traditionally partaken of by Thai’s, Christmas dinner and Sunday lunches are becoming more and more popular with Thai citizens.
The Power of Pop Art
Enjoy New Year’ Eve down at the Pullman Pattaya Hotel G on the 31st December, with a theme of Pop Art. There is a grand executive-style buffet whilst you can enjoy the live performance of Malika with DJ Yuu spinning the all the tunes.
Christmas for Two
Head down to Second Road and the Hotel Baraquda for an extra special Christmas Eve. Both your partner and you can enjoy an exquisite seven course dinner specially created by the Baraquda’s executive chef.
On the menu is Australian lamb, seared scallops, salmon fillet and of course traditional roast turkey, before the celebration of dessert of traditional Christmas pudding laced generously with brandy.
