This is the fourth year of the highly successful Wonderfruit Festival, Asia’s only truly lifestyle event. Taking place at The Fields at Siam Country Club in Pattaya between the 14th and 17th of December 2017.
The Wonderfruit Festival is different than most music festivals as it is truly a family event that is not just based around music, it is a lifestyle event. It combines music, arts, food, entertainment and mindful living, including health and wellness activities, talks, debates and workshops.
Sunrise – The Solar Stage presents ambient and atmospheric soundscapes. DJ’s are including: Be Svendsen, Eduardo Castillo and Nicola Cruz.
Afternoon – A constant backtrack of the day presented by Singto Numchok and Space Telexxx.
Sunset – As the day transitions from day to night, a selection of great vibes played by: Izzy Bizu, Songhoy Blues, Gapi and the Thai Dub Mafia, Hernandez Brothers, Stoic and Yeasayer.
Evening – From the Main Stage to the smaller venues, a full team will provide the music: John Will Sail, Bobby Pleasure, Khruangbin, Nerve, Roots Manuva, Vurro and Wild Beasts.
Late Night – For all the night people, powerful rhythms go well into the wee hours provided by: Gui Boratto, Craig Richards, Crew Love Takeover, Marmosets, Sarayu, Matt Sassari and Richie Hawtin.
Art forms a big part of Wonderfruit, explore the “Fields” to find fantastic structures designed by world-class sculptors who employ innovative techniques and sustainable materials.
The six main stages are all state-of-the-art and architecturally challenging. The Farm stage, Living stage, Rainforest pavilion, Solar stage, the Quarry and the Theatre of Feasts. All bring thought provoking conversation and discourse.
The Solar Stage once more will be a focal point of “The Fields”. It has become a spiritual center point for the whole of Wonderfruit and is the core of sunrise and sunset celebrations.
The main stage that is home to the mainstream entertainment is the Living Stage, and for 2017, designer Adam Pollina plans to create a whole new experience of how the audience and bands come together.
Top architect Duangrit Bunnag designed the Rainforest Pavilion which over the last four years has become a landmark at the festival. During the day it is home to transformational and arts workshops, and enjoy sounds from Indonesia’s rainforests together with electronic music from Bali.
The Quarry is Wonderfruit’s late-night venue, and in December has some of the best DJ’s lined up to perform. Designer Adam Pollina has scheduled some spectacular creations to send The Quarry into another dimension.
Wonderfruit 2017 is expected to be bigger and better than ever, already tickets have almost sold out. It will provide a cultural and musical extravaganza to any person attending.
