If you love horses or your kids do then don’t miss out on this wonderful event coming up on the 22nd – 24th June in Pattaya. As always Pattaya Events brings up to date news on great things that are happening in Pattaya and the Horseshoe Point Invitational 2018 is once such event.
This wonderful three day event will see both local and non-local riders coming together to take part in a great equestrian event. An estimated eighty competitors will be in attendance during the weekend.
Spectators are encouraged and will see some great show jumping and dressage events. Riders will use all their horse skills to compete for the trophies that are on offer. As always Horseshoe point will offer great facilities and visitors can make use of a first class restaurant and also the accommodation that is on hand.
Obviously the horses and the competition are the main attractions at The Invitational. But Horseshoe point also offers an adventure park, water fun and games, archery or visitors can rent a bike and spend a day cycling around the marvelous countryside.
Horseshoe Point Club
The Horseshoe Point Club is only 10/15 kilometers from Central Pattaya, but in reality is a world away. You will not see any sight of high rise luxury condominiums or the busy traffic. Horseshoe Point Club is situated in an idyllic setting and ideal for some great R&R from bustling Pattaya.
Spread over one and a half thousand acres of green countryside, the Horseshoe Point Club is located close to Mabprachan Reservoir and all of its amenities. The International Riding School has a reputation of being one of the finest equestrian facilities in the whole of Southeast Asia.
It is recognized and certified by TEF (Thailand Equestrian Federation) and also has an affiliation with the Centro Equestre da Leziria Grande, from which the club’s chief instructor Louis Valenca Rodrigues hails from.
The club has some fine facilities including five indoor and outdoor arenas, a tack shop, a stables and over one hundred horses. The breeds include Arabs, Lusitano, Appaloosa, Lipizzaner, Falabella, Warmbloods and of course Thai ponys.
The facility is a wonderful place for serious riders and also families, as it offers many attractions to visitors including fifteen minute children’s pleasure rides. There is also pony trekking for experienced riders which is approximate a two hour ride.
The club offers riding classes for all levels under the watchful eye of riding master Chaikiri Srifuengfung who was trained in Portugal. It is the only club in this part of Thailand that offers the Art of Classical Riding, where experienced riders can learn show jumping and dressage.
